• understand how to use video effectively to enhance their Web-based E.C. portfolio.
• be able to identify at least one way a video could be used in an E.C. portfolio.
• be able to identify the equipment needed to create, edit and add a video clip to a Web page.
• be able to explain what a media player is, why it is needed and where one can be obtained.
• be able to create a video of them self.
• understand and apply different video formats.
• become more aware of the size of video files and the impact large video files may have on the downloading of Web pages.
• understand and be able to use at least one of the different compression methods available.
• be able explain the difference between progressive download and true streaming.
• be able to add a video clip to the their Web-based E.C. portfolio.
